1/2 kg ikan kakap (Bisa ikan patin atau nila)
10 siung bawang merah
5 siung bawang putih
5 bh cabe keriting kering (direbus sebentar)
3 bh cabe hijau
1 bh tomat
2 btg serai
1 ruas jahe
1 ruas kunyit
2 ruas lengkuas
1 sdt garam
1/2 sdt gula
1/2 sdt penyedap
500 ml air

Langkah Membuatnya
    1. Siapkan semua bahan
    2. Haluskan bawang merah, bawang putih, cabe keriting, jahe, lengkuas, dan kunyit
    3. Potong memanjang cabe hijau dan potong juga tomat
    4. Panaskan minyak tumis bumbu halus hingga harum lalu masukkan serai
    5. Jika sudah harum masukkan ikan sebentar lalu tambahkan air
    6. Masak hingga mendidih kemudian beri rasa dengan garam gula dan penyedap
    7. Setelah itu masukkan potongan cabe hijau dan tomat
    8. Koreksi rasa jika sudah pas biarkan sebentar hingga cabe dan tomat agak layu
    9. Jika sudah layu matikan kompor lalu sajikan ikan asam pedas kakap
